These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, the “user”, or the “website owner”) and sambad.live (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and govern your access to and use of the sambad.live website and the embeddable result widget and all related services (together, the “Service”). By accessing, embedding, or using the Service in any manner, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with all laws applicable to you.
2. The Service
The Service provides an automated, embeddable widget that displays publicly announced lottery result information for reference purposes. We do not sell tickets, accept stakes, or facilitate gambling of any kind. The result content is informational only and the officially published result is always the sole authoritative source, as further described in our Disclaimer.
3. Licence to use
Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to embed and display the Service on websites that you lawfully own or control. This licence does not transfer any ownership and may be modified, suspended, or revoked by us at any time, with or without notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose, or in any jurisdiction or context where displaying lottery-related content is restricted or prohibited;
- copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service or any part of it;
- remove, obscure, or alter any branding, attribution, or notices we require;
- misrepresent the results, present them as official, or imply any affiliation with or endorsement by us or any official body;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure; or
- use the Service in connection with any content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes the rights of others.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and all related intellectual property, is and remains the exclusive property of sambad.live and its licensors. Except for the limited licence expressly granted above, nothing in these Terms transfers any right, title, or interest to you. All third-party names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
6. How the Service is funded
The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by a single advertising redirect triggered by a visitor’s first interaction with the widget. By embedding or using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to this advertising mechanism. While we take reasonable steps to serve quality advertising, we do not control and are not responsible for third-party advertising content, and we make no warranty regarding it.
7. Third-party content and links
The Service may display, link to, or redirect to third-party websites, advertising, or content. We do not endorse and are not responsible for any third-party content, products, services, or practices. Any interaction with third parties is solely between you (or your visitors) and that third party, at your own risk.
8. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for: (a) ensuring that your use of the Service is lawful in every country, state, and region in which it is accessed; (b) complying with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, advertising standards, and platform policies; (c) the operation, content, and security of your own website; and (d) providing any privacy notice, cookie notice, consent, or other disclosure that the law requires you to give your visitors. You assume all responsibility and risk for how the Service is used on or through your website.
9. No warranty — provided “as is”
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free of errors, viruses, or other harmful components. No advice or information obtained from the Service creates any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall sambad.live or its owners, operators, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of, reliance on, or inability to use the Service, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed one thousand Indian Rupees (INR 1,000) or the equivalent. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in such cases our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless sambad.live and its owners, operators, employees, and partners from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your website and any content on it; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party. Responsibility for how the Service is used on or through your website rests entirely with you, not with sambad.live.
12. Suspension and termination
We may, at our sole discretion and without liability, suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service, for any account or website, at any time and with or without notice, including where we believe these Terms have been breached. Upon termination, the licence granted to you ends immediately and you must cease using the Service. Provisions which by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnities) shall survive.
13. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence, you agree that the competent courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
15. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be deemed a waiver of it.
